Chief Executive Officer
Emmanuel Barasa is a visionary and a technology enthusiast who believes in equality when it comes to justice. He is the founder of MiRight, a legal literacy Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) on a mission to educate the masses on their rights and the various laws using popular modern means such as short videos e.t.c.. Having earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Strathmore University, He worked for Magezi Technologies and Finsol Technologies as a Software Engineer before leaving and founding MiRight. The main drive behind MiRight is the need to empower the underprivileged by providing simple means for them to consume the constitution and other laws.
IT Lead
Laureen Toroitich is a technology enthusiast who envisions herself as part of the tech community fostering innovation, building capacity to individuals not only providing technocentric innovation but beyond, ensuring there is a social impact. She has a background in sustainable product innovation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology (Business Intelligence) from Strathmore University. Her ambition in life has been to pursue innovation in different industry sectors improving their business processes aligning them to sustainability targets. She worked for Kenya Airports Parking Services Lab, where she collaborated in designing and developing intuitive software applications for clients.
Head of Research
Kihu Samson is a skilled data analyst with a major in industrial biotechnology. Samson is the head of MiRight's research section, which oversees doing operational research on youth issues in the country. He earned his bachelor's degree in industrial biotechnology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.As the lead researcher, he previously collaborated with a study team from Dortmund University on improving transportation in Nairobi County. He has also worked in quality control and production for Cosmos Pharmaceuticals and Jojemi Agriventure, respectively.
Legal Counsel
Cephas Doc is an Advocate of the High Court of
Kenya. He focuses mainly on Litigation, Legal Administration and Compliance, Legal Writing, Legal
Research and other regulatory matters.
He also has a focus on Public Policy and National Governance.

Researcher
Ronaldo Chacha is a biotechnology major and experienced Researcher. He is a holder of Bachelors Degree in Industrial Biotechnology from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Mr Ronaldo Chacha is also a content and professional writer and designs articles and various written contents. He was part of the Research team that helped with the development of MIRIGHT Application which was meant to promote legal awareness among the youths.
Legal Counsel
Nelly Tuikong is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, specialising in the fields of Intellectual Property, Media Law and Commercial Law. She is well versed and experienced in the Kenyan media space, and is also an accredited journalist with the Media Council of Kenya. Nelly Tuikong has taken part in several Intellectual Property matters, including negotiation of contracts and registration of copyright and patents.
Legal Counsel
Enock Losiamoi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya who works with MiRight as a legal counsel. Enock has over three (3) years’ experience working in the legal field. His legal practice is generally focused on Dispute Resolution, Legal Compliance, Policy & Legislative Drafting and Technology and Innovation. Enock believes that integrity and resilience is key to delivering in his position. Enock focuses his practice on Constitutional and Human Rights Litigation and advisory, Employment and Labour Law, Children Law and Family and Succession law. Enock has previously worked with reputable law firms like G&A Advocates LLP, and Ogeta Oluoch & Co. Advocates. Enock holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from Moi University. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and duly Admitted into the Roll of Advocates of the High Court of Kenya. He is also a Member of the Law Society of Kenya. .
Researcher
Owango Bedwin is a Biotechnologist by profession and well vast with the research sector. He a bachelors degree in Industrial Biotechnology having graduated from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Mr. Owango is also involved in content writing, image annotation, and content transcription. He is part of he research team which is doing significant developments in the making of MIRIGHT Application.
